The
Department of Veterinary Molecular Biology currently has several postdoctoral
positions available to work with a committed group of investigators who are
studying important diseases and disease processes of humans and animals. The VMB has a research institute-like atmosphere and is
located in a highly desirable recreational area in the Rocky mountains.

Michael W. White: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE position is
available to study the unique cell cycle of the malaria-related, AIDS pathogen, Toxoplasma gondii. These
studies will involve the application of genetic strategies to understand the
mechanisms linking growth regulation to development. The lab employs
genetic strategies such as yeast two-hybrid and targeted mutagenesis as well as
functional genomics in order to decipher the mechanisms that control pathogen
growth and development. Qualifications: a Ph.D. in a biomolecular related
